If you were to discover a super weapon so advanced how would you use it?

This weapon came from another planet and can send super pulses to any part of the world by bouncing off the atsmosphere and directing with accuarcy so perfect to anywhere. Im curious to know what you like to destroy if you could? The world is on the blink of self destruction with many countries ready to start nuking everything. What would you destroy?

sounds like the old sci fi movie "the day the earth stood still." if would attempt to do the right things. i studied long ago a truly good king was far more effective and just that a democracy or any other sort of government. like good king winsinslaus (sp?). at least for a a couple of decades things would be changing very fast on earth if i had that thing. would disarm everybody with nuclear, germ etc. high tech bs. would order big time population control. that would be second only to wmd. would have to diagnose ad segragate hiv positive people. until further notice. drug fields would be obliterated over night. poppies etc. all the fast food joints would no longer serve greasy salty food. maybe oatmeal and fresh fruit and some green tea. whatever works. all industry would not only stop smokestack problems but must do things to reverse the situation. no more nafta or world trade. cultures would be respected and true diversity would berespected and the homoginzaton process would stop in its tracks. or what would i do. well you gave me the magic gun to bounce off the atomspere and zap exact spots. i would send out my posse to identify those spots. one warning then the next time ligjhts out! world economy would go to hell anad i would not care. doctors and nurses would change their attitudes over night or they would be called in for reindoctrination and citizenship traaining. one slip and they would stripped of all worldly possessioojs and huge pay cuts. hospital administrators would be going before firing squads. and i would maintain popular support with the biggest most powerful pr and movtivational army you couldd dream of. would not stop until i dropped and i wold have a succession plan to keep it rolloing. a great deal of wonderful new technoogy would be eliminated. all whiz bang thingies hurt in the long run. we don't need so much junk. we need more buddhist thinking which stresses our no. 1 problem are cravings. which is desire and greed. not tings we really need. without your weapon, it will never happen. please give me the weapon so i can get things going.

If you are worrying about the world being on the brink of self destruction and that many countries are ready to start nuking everything do you not think it would be hypocritical to then start destroying things around the world yourself

I suppose the noble answer would be to destroy all the nukes before they could be used. However, with such a weapon, I might be able to commandeer on of those biatchin' space vehicles from NASA, and I could just take off into space, make some pop-corn, and watch the fireworks...

I'd destroy it because humans are far from ready to hold anything like a real super weapon, immortality or contact with spiritual or alien lifeforms. We are all arrogant thinking we have a right to abuse the planet with our pollution, stupid enough to feel we dont need God anymore and so up ourselves whatever nation gets on top goes for dominion like the US is now.

Saying that, I'd probably go for the Whitehouse because President George Dubya Bush is there!

Build a millenium type dome around it, call the building Survival Educational Establishment, have a television channel devoted to it fulltime and charge exhorbitant entrance fees for the general public countries to actually look at it to hopefully teach the world that although such things can destroy worlds if used, they can also be maintained as keeping peace if NOT used, but are simply there. Why charge exhorbitant fees you may ask, because if people get things for free they don't value them.

Well, you could destroy the nukes -- but then the nations would probably blame each other, and go to war, without MAD. I guess I might knock out a few despots and terrorists. Problem is, how do I know where exactly they are, to aim this 'superweapon?'

Oh yeah... use it to destroy all of the corrupted government official plus any kind of greedy people in this world
And of course, I will use that kind of weapon to punish many people that being lucky can escape from their country law but of course not the divine retribution when they death !
