Consider the Gospel of Mark (15:34): And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
As has been noted, "Allah" is a cognate to "El" and "Elohim" (or Eloha as a variant) in the Tanach, so we have Aleph (alif), lamed(lam),hei (ha) although most Arabic doubles the lamed and inserts an additional alif before the end like the Aramaic variant of Jesus.
Therefore, when Jesus prayed, he prayed to Allah. And although Christians treat Jesus as one person of the Trinity, recall John 14:6, "No one can come to the Father except through me." Thus, while Jesus is indesepnsible to a Christian's salvation, that salvation comes by invoking the name Jesus Christ to come into communion with the Father, Elohim/Allah.

Nice theory. But there is a big hole in it. Those are not the words of Jesus. Before you tell me that they are. Look closely. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? It's a cry for help. Is Jesus crying for help or is there something else? Allah is God in Arabic. Elohim is God in Hebrew. What Christ is saying isn't about a language or anything other than quoting someone else's words. That is the opening verse in Psalm 22. Those are the words of David, a man that when through hardship and wasn't afraid to yell at God to tell him that he was angry about his life. Before trying to attribute Jesus to anything but what the Bible says he is -- look closer. This is showing that even if the last breath, Christ's mind was on scripture. I hope that in my last breath, I am able to quote a Psalm.

Islam says Allah has no son. Therefore they cannot be the same God.
John 13:10 "I and My Father are one".
John 1... In the beginning was the Word, And the Word was with God, and the Word was God....14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God...
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.John 2:22
Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. Luke 12:4
John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but He who does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Allah is the arabic word for GOD, so of course he prayed to Allah. Also as some of you might not be aware, the Quran and the bible are similar in many ways, especially in the old testiment, as Islam is the religion of the old testiment before jesus was born. The teachings of Abraham. We also believe in other messangers from the bible. Even Jesus, however it is in the interpretation of Jesus and his teachings where we differ. Even in the bible Jesus said do not bow down, nor lift me up, I am yet a messenger of God. Praise be to god, and may god bless all believers of the book, the Quran, the bible, and the Torah, as we all worship him, just in different ways.

You obviously have too much time on your hands.
Allah is also a cognate of YHWH, as close as Roman letters can get.
You have deliberately, and stubbornly, misinterpereted John 14:6. Yeshua Ben-Josef was speaking in Parable, not literally.
We are all Sons of Abraham, it is the loudmouths of the following generations that messed it all up.
Praise The Lord! Allahu Akbar! God is Great! Wash Your Feet!

Well Jesus always prayed to somebody, and was submissive when he prayed, thats why I just don't believe in this Trinity thing, of Jesus being God and the holy spirit, plus the Jewish God name is Yahweh, and Jesus was a jew, so his God and father had to be Yahweh or Jehovah.

nice try but not even remotely close:
al lah means "the god" elohim is plural, hebrew, 3 or more.
nice try
The LORD of the bible is by nature different from allah. If you don't believe this, spend a little time and read the bible, then contrast the bible with the two books, the koran and the hadithah.
Then contrast the message of love by jesus with the message by the other guy.
The message of Christ is, I am the redemer. the other guy calls him a prophet and a good man. Jesus did not leave that option open to you. He says, accept me as God, accept me as savior,
Jesus Christ is either a demon from hell, a lunitic or the GOD come in the flesh, but he is not a good moral man.
study a bit before you go posting stuff like this...

Exactly. Christianity and Islam can coexist. In fact, don't Muslims consider Christ a prophet from the soul of God/Allah? I believe that God sent Christ and Mohammed later on. Two messengers from god to appeal to two groups of people.

NOT!
Those who say Allah is the same as the God of the Bible are simply ignorant of both the Scripture and what the Quran teaches.
The Quran says: "God has no Son" and forces its adherents to believe God has no son, thus directly attempting to nullify the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Quran denies also that Jesus is the Christ/Messiah.
The Scripture says explicitly: "Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. HE THAT DENIES THE SON, THE SAME HAS NOT THE FATHER". (I John 2:22)
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.
In fact, Jesus said....your salvation depends on you BECOMING A SON OF GOD.....by being born OF GOD.

Wrong!!!
There is no association whatsoever with Islam and the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Islam rejects Biblical scripture and even goes as far as saying it is "corrupt." So why would they acknowledge Christ, or the God of Abraham, Issac, or Jacob? "Allah" does not exist, but is the figment of Muhammad's imagination.
We all know who the true God is. And He has nothing whatsoever to do with Islam.

Jesus did not in any way shape or form pray to Allah, because He only prayed to His father, God when He lived on Earth.
