The Bible teaches that the blood of Christ is the only way to salvation, so why do Mormons believe that Jesus' sacrafice wasn't good enough for certain sins?

Sorry I didn't specify that murder is one of the sins Mormons do not believe Christ's blood can atone for so here is the rest of the statement:
Murder, for instance, is one of these sins; hence we find the Lord commanding capital punishment."...
