"I who am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon
among the stars and the mysteries of the waters, I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me. For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe. From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return. Let My worship be in the heart tha rejoices, for behold -- all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals. Let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you. And you who seek to know Me, know that your seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without. For behold, I have been with you from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire."

These are words of the Goddess. Given to one to pass on to all.

This is part of the "Charge of the Goddess" that permeates the neo-Pagan beliefs as the word of Jesus permeated the beliefs of the early Christians, long before they had all the pomp and edifices.

See Terry that's why I keep loving the Neo-Pagans, that could be a poem from Sophia speaking of Gnosis. I'm getting more and more convinced that Pagans might be the new Gnostics provided they avoid giving power to an orthodoxy. May OUR Goddess bless all your endevours
Blessed Be!

Um... Actually "Green Earth, White Moon, Mysteries of the waters" refers to nature worship. It mentions"Soul of nature the gives life in the universe" which, again Nature worship. And if a Christian said this as a prayer, they would be turning their back on God, allowing a chance for "Satan" to intervene in their lives.

Terry, I don't believe in anything or anyone except myself, but I do have a very healthy respect for Nature and the Elements and were I to be inclined to follow any religious path, yours would be my first choice.

As far as I know, it doesn't. I thought it was just the Pagan charge of the Goddess. And if so, it's not Satanic.

Once again, thanks Terry for sharing. I am sure some of the Christians will just answer with the age old answer of "if you are not with us, then you are against us." I actually feel sad for people with such a narrow viewpoint.

"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14, New International Version)
"...the devil...was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." (John 8:44, NIV)
"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10, NIV)
Serving anyone or anything other than the one true God leads to death. "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." (Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25, NIV)
Things that appear beautiful can still be deadly. Poetry matters less than truth.
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" (John 14:6, NIV)

Simple, it takes worship and obedience to God and puts it in something that is not in order to lead people away from God. That is Satan's goal, to take people's eyes off of God and put it on something else, and it seems to me that is has apparently worked on some of you.
