So, John H, by that definition, many of God's followers are bigots. Lovely.

You know, for all of you saying, "God hates the sin, not the sinner." Are you the same people who say that God is love? If so, then God can't hate anything, right?

Furthermore, I know many homosexuals who consider their "sin" to be a part of WHO THEY ARE! It's not just a behavior for them. It is a lifestyle, it is a personality trait, it is a defining characteristic. The fact that I am attracted to men is a part of who I am. My sexuality is a part of who I am. The same applies to homosexuals. Therefore, by the way most people define themselves, Christianity is permitting the ostracizing of a certain group of people for who they are, not what they do.

Some of you sound no different than the racists of the 1950s when they said that God disapproved of "Negroes" and their "***** ways." It's the EXACT same rhetoric.

God is love, read that carefully and think. There is no hatred in a being of love. You either proceed toward him, or you recede away from him. If you don't know the difference between the tribal diety of the "Jew" and the supreme God of creation you better find yourself a better teacher. Jesus himself rebutted the earthy god on numerous occasions, and yet so called christians (churchians) insist on trying to resolve the irreconcileable differences between the old and new testaments. There is a very good reason why both systems were included in the same book, but that cannot be addressed, or even approached, when we are taught from childhood that they are one and the same. The answers are out there, but you have to actively search for them, they will NEVER - EVER be given to you without your untiring personal effort. If that sounds discouraging so be it. If you're satisfied with your "religion" I'll caution you against setting your foot on the path. It was a wise man who first said "ignorance is bliss". Homosexuality is unnatural, nothing further need be said. I judge the act, not the men who commit it. Do as you will, you answer ultimately to a wisdom far higher than mine. Go your way in peace and allow me the same courtesy.

God does not hate homosexuals though..he loves them..he just hates the sin..

..Satan on the other hand, could care less because he doesn't care what happens to you..he wants you to sin so you will end up in Hell....this is a battle between good and evil and Satan is out to tempt you with whatever sin, floats your boat...you let him into your life and he will keep you bound to sin for the rest of your life, if you don't resist him.

BTW...I've read the back of the book...God wins.

On the contrary, Satan does care. He wants to have as many people as possible join his side, for he knows his time is short. He works hard to make people fall to temptation, therefore making them sin, therefore drawing them away from God and onto his side. Homosexuality is just another way for Satan to draw people away from God. When he has won over a person through sin, whether it be homosexuality or heterosexual sex outside of marriage, or lying, or stealing, or whatever, he rejoices in his victory. So yes, Satan does care a great deal about homosexuality, for he knows that every soul that he has won is one more person who he can make suffer, one more person who will not experience the joys of heaven, one more person who is lost in a darkness that can only be penetrated by the light of Christ.
God bless!

Main Entry: big·ot
Pronunciation: 'bi-g&t
Function: noun
Etymology: French, hypocrite, bigot
: a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.

Merriam-Webster On-line Dictionary

A careful reading of this definition shows that God is not the bigot. God has pronounced homosexuality as a sin, therefore He has the right to condemn them for their actions. Also, you wrote "God hates homosexuality." and you are right. But hating the ACT of homosexulaity does not make one a bigot!

Therefore, the answer to your question is NEITHER, but the mere fact of you asking this question in the manner in which you wrote it would serve as a good foundation to accuse you of being one

Bigotry is irrational hatred of persons. God doesn't hate persons. He loves each person infinitely and unconditionally. Which is why He hates those behaviors that can hurt those He loves. Especially the ultimate hurt, eternal damnation.

God is the bigot. He seems to have problems with plenty of things, that are infact created by his own self.

Dork doesn't realise that he is all-knowing and must have known that people would turn to this way in future.
