generally you have seen a picture and or used a cam so you know what the person looks like --- and online is much more about personality than appearance --- and you dont use acronyms you type and you read and feel what the other person is saying --- you can get very involved with a person online even when you cant see them all the time -- i speak from experience -- i have met some ladies online and then face to face --- and now the love of my life is long distance as well --- it can work
