Maybe ..

Scammers are starting to use the names of real companies .. most people don't bother to check .. even things like foreign domain names and free public email addresses fail to ring warning bells ...

Whilst only an idiot thinks that "Barclays_Bank@yahoo.co.uk" is real, it's amazing how many fall for "National.Lottery.uk@msn.com" and are quite happy to visit their web site "National.Lottery.co.uk.ru" and send money via Western Union to Lagos Nigeria .. or buy shares in some unknown Company that might or might not exist (or believe that some con-merchants fancy share 'certificates' are real :-) )

One thing you CAN be sure of .. if you have been contacted by some-one you have NEVER dealt with before, it's a scam

Let me assure you, no one has every made money buying Shares offered by email or phone (except the con-merchants who offer to sell them to you), NO Company offers jobs (or cheques) to random people via the Internet and NO 'lottery' has EVER been won by some-one who never even bought a ticket.
