At a certain age, do ppl. just assume that you're not even if you're shy? (I'm 21).
p.s I'm waiting for marriage by choice. It's great b/c it weeds out jerks who are only in it for sex, but bad b/c it weeds out genuinely great guys who think sex is an important component (eventually) in a serious relationship (and hey, I can sympathize; it's not like this is the 1950's or some highly traditional 3rd world country...)

No. Being shy can be attractive to a mature guy who is not looking for sex. I do not like really trashy girls so I take shyness as a sign a certain level of innocence can be found in that girl.
Further, I might be strange, but I do not ask the virgin question. I have not had sex, but I have dated girls who are virgins and some who are not. From my perspective, a girl has a clean slate with me and she can prove she is truly a good person if she wants.
