Kangaroo. My brother's friend worked for a wild life park so we got to raise an orphan kangaroo until it was old enough to live in the park. We bottle fed it and kept it in a sack hanging on the door. (to replicate its mum's pouch)

Wombat - they are cute an cuddly and more friendly than most other aussie animals.
- Kangaroos: dumb animals, like to jump in front of car and cause average $1000 damage.
- Platypus: NOT cute and cuddly, have poison on their feet
- Emus: dumb birds, will snatch a food off you even from where the table you are sitting.
- Echidna: DEFINITELY not cuddley
- Koala: nice, cuddly - but they are NOT bears and they sleep all day and stink of eucalyptus - EXCEPT for you of course K Bear. LOL
Edit: ---- for all those who gave me thumbs down, I am ok with getting them but I hope you are Aussies - because if you are, I can guess as to why you might have given them. But if you aren't Aussies.... let me tell you:
- I have hit a roo recently. They really jump out in front of cars and many other Aussies will testify to that (stupid animals).
- Platypus REALLY do have venomous spur on the inside of each of their hind legs.
So there!

The famous Australian Drop Bear, of course. Actually, in all honesty, I find the lesser-known, but just as deadly, Leap Bear a more attractive beasty.

I love em all, although the Tasmanian Devil has the most hideous growl imaginable, and they fight like I don't know what.
Here are some: the spotted quoll, the mulgara, the bilby, the pretty-faced wallaby, the pink galah, the rainbow lorikeet, the blue-tongued lizard........

Me of course. Then the Wombat
