I've had it... we're a military family. Seen it all, done it all for over 10 years, twice in Iraq. What is the best newspaper to tell this to? I'm ready to expose all of it and let the world know exactly what BS is being spewn. Thanks.

You ain't got anything new to tell that hasn't be told before! This old Vietnam Marine's advice is suck-it-up and grown some backbone. At least there's not "peace talks" going on in Paris for years and years while the war in Iraq continues.

Do you plan to make the military a career? My Father retired after 21 years, do they still have the 20-year retirement now?
In regards to your question, obviously you are a volunteer, so there must be a lot you appreciate about serving our nation (and thank you and your family for that). But I would caution you to not blow your career either. As you know, the military is not a democracy.

As a 20 Army retiree what are you planning to tell? Your statement better include alot of of facts that can be substantiated. If not all your doing is whining and not helping your case and could get the service member in a lot of trouble. Don't think for one minute that the press will help you in the way you think, better find another way to resolve your problems.

What are you looking to expose:
The lying, the cheating, the backstabling bitches, the politics of it all, people not getting promoted when they are suppose to, People covering up things, the drugs, the real reason we are in Iraq or what we are really doing there.
How about how much the military gets paid and gets screwed with their pay sometimes. Are you going to expose the length of deployments and how some wives have to go through BS while their soldier is gone.
What else is left to expose, I think almost everyone knows that sometimes the military life sucks. But it is what you make of it, well sometimes.
Good luck in having your story told.

Get in line...I'm sure every newsrag in the world is swamped with people wanting to "expose" stuff. Do an internet search for "military rant" and I'm sure you'll find that everything you've seen has been reported already somewhere.

I am just so sure. What happened didn't get your own way? Aw, poor baby, go to the weep locker, get a chit from the chaplain and maybe a crying towel.
Seen it all? Done it all? Uh huh!
About the response I expected. Tell me some of these stories of mine. Would like to hear them. For over 10 years? Wow, how does one compete with that compendeum of knowledge and experience. No be a Respectable family, an quit moaning.

expose what, exactly? Unless you have an IG report to back you up, be prepared to be raked over the coals for being bitter because your spouse got an Article 15 that was deserved.
