This is a weight problem. I am 16 years old now and when i was fifteen I weight around 145 pounds and I use to be chubby and my mom would say i was fat so i started eating less and trying to lose weight. Now i am 130 pounds and today my mother said i don't look good because i look too skinny and skinny doesn't go with me and i look sick. My sister told be some people were not meant to be skinny.People have been noticing that i lose weight but i do not know if they think i look good or not. I do not know what is wrong. I have not been exercising or eating healthy but i have been eating less and i still have a big stomach. i don't want to look like Star Jones. I want to keep losing a little more weight because i don't feel good and i do not like my body. I have a big stomach and the last time i went to the doctor they said i needing to lose the stomach. Did i lose the weight too fast? What am i doing wrong? Am i getting too skinny because i am 16yrs n want to be around 125 pound -120p?

If you lost weight by not eating you lost muscle and not fat (generally). You need to do more crunches. Hold in your stomach when doing the crunches otherwise the tummy builds muscles that project outward, thus making it look like you still have fat around your waist. Do twisting crunches to help the tummy muscles, too. Good luck.

Your ideal weight should go along with your height. Some people just naturally have a larger frame, hence can never look skinny, but at the same time are not fat.
Don't worry about your tummy. I think at 16 yrs old, you should worry about other things, like graduating and college.
You could never look like Star Jones...she was like 300 lbs.
If you feel you are overly obsessed with your body image, it could lead to something even more serious! You have to eat healthy above all!

Strength training is best for toning and burning fat. Cardio is best for burning calories. Do a combination of both! You must eat protein (or take supplements) each 3 to 4 hours to feed the muscle which burns off stored fat. You can safely and quickly lose 9 pounds every 11 days on this diet plan. The computer will write the diet meals/snack menu for you so there's nothing you have to do, but eat what is planned for you. Drink at least 64 ounces of water each day. Remember: calories in minus calories burned = gain or lost weight at the end of each day. You can do it! I'm also giving you a link to a great protein shake that can give you 25 grams of protein in each shake - great for a meal replacement or mid-meal snack - only 220 calories and mixed with water and ice (you can also add fresh or frozen fruit.)

One word--exercise !! You need to do it while dieting to tighten everything up. I wish I had exercised more when I was younger...It's hard to start, but your body will thank you for it ! Start with some crunches. Also lie on your back with your legs in the air and lift your butt toward the ceiling. Do about 20 to start and work up to more. (This works for lower abs.) Even walking will help.
Good luck!!

Do what feels right for you, and try not to worry about the food and weight too much. Don't let it define who you are and how you look.
...Maybe your mom's just jealous of you? It does happen.

i'm 16 and a little shorter than you and i weigh 100-105 lbs.
it just depends on your body. everyone is different, obviously.
as long as you are healthy...
i'm being very cliche, sorry...
