i think its a free course you can go and sign up at you rlocal red cross or go to redcross.com and get more information there

Contact the American Red Cross at http://www.redcross.org to find your local chapter. Chapters set their own prices and schedules, but locally it would run you about $60 for the 8 hour course.

they have a website just look it up on yahoo or google. also, most towns have a local AMerican Red Cross where they teach the classes regularly, but if you get your certification through the American Lung Association it's valid for two years and costs about the same whereas the ARC is only valid for one year.
