Well, part of college is to ensure that you learn things you don't already know, so what you know now is fairly irrelevant. However, there are a number of careers which might help you if you are only interested in pop culture. For example, a lot of people with communications degrees become publicists for celebrities. Or you could go into something like recording arts and deal with record companies. Or you could get a business degree and manage something related to the things you enjoy. One of my graduate students has been a personal assistant to an A-list celebrity for a number of years. It pays well, and she basically just has to be reliable and organized. I seem to remember that her undergrad degree was in something like psychology, but the fact is that all she really needed was a college degree. In anything.

When you get to college it is not about smarts. It is about how hard you study and work for your grades and degree. If you really want to do something just do it. Remember, every degree will require work. College is a lot of Work. Make sure that you like what you are going to do for the rest of your life. If you are interested in a job, ask a person if you could job shadow (that helped my friend). Then find out what you need to do to pursue such degree.

Good Luck.
