I find this question to be very odd.
You raise her the way you would raise any other child.
EDITED TO ADD: If you are wondering about ways to keep her Japanese heritage alive, then check out AsiaForKids.com. They have all sorts of cultural books, toys, resources for language, etc. It is a wonderful resource!

She is Japanese, she will be still be Japanese no matter how she is raised! If you mean how you can help to raise her with a Japanses culture... play Japanese music, cook some traditional Japanese foods (I suggest a cookbook!), learn how to speak some basic Japanese, celebrate Japanese holidays, even try to make some Japanese friends who would be able to help you with things like this! Search online for something like a support group for people with adopted Japanese children. Good luck!

The first thing you should do is recognize that the nationality of the child has nothing to do with 'raising' her unless you are talking about exposing her to more of her culture and ways. For the most part, love her, involve her in sports, music, art, dance. Take her to the library and allow her to read books and see the puppet shows, etc. Locate other Japanese people in your community and be neighborly. Invite them to your home and get to know them -particularly if they have children her age. If you want 'specific' applications in Japanese, you might want to contact organizations in your community who might be able to help. Get some videos and you can learn the language. Find books online or games, puzzles, etc. that she can play and learn from.

Most all of the answers above me seem good. She is just like any other little 9 year old. She needs to do her home work, have some fun, and get to know and understand her culture and take pride in it. Good luck.

Help raise her like a child just because she is Japanese dosent mean she is not the same as any other 9year old. Act as though she is yours and go from there. Look past her race

take her to a center where she can get to know her culture and the customs of her natural people. Find some Japanese friends for her.

You should probably be specific, but make sure she feels welcome, not some outcast because she isn't the same race as you. Love her like you would any other child put in your care. Look up Japanese culture, if that's what you're worried about.

The same way you do any kid.Let them know who is the parent and that they are loved, but there are rules and consequences for breaking them. The consequences can be anything from time out to losing privileges or spanking if need be.It depends on the kid.

The same way you raise children from other races. Asians are very fond of their culture though.
