The 'right' answer is, none. Consuming one unit of alcohol (12 oz beer/wine, shot of 80 proof liquor) can impair your ability to drive.
The real answer is a lot more complicated. It depends on a lot of different things; most important are your body mass (weight), how fast your body processes (burn rate) alcohol [which is related to your health, medications you are taking, and general metabolism], and how long you were drinking those beers. Most people can metabolize (burn) around 1 unit of alcohol per hour.
Legal intoxication begins at a blood alcohol content level of 0.08; but in certain locales you can be arrested for reckless driving combined with any amount of alcohol in your blood (check the laws in your state to see if they can charge you for driving while impaired [aka driving under the influence] or only for driving while intoxicated).
Below's a calculator to find your apporximate (stress on approximate) BAC based on gender, weight, time, and consumption.

Depends on the beer, how much you ate, how long you took to eat dinner, and your body mass. A very, small few could probably get away with three beers. Most men could do two, but some would be really pushing it even with that. Some people could only do one, or even none at all. Better safe than sorry. I wouldn't drive if I had one, and I'm a 6' 0", 185 pound dude.

Depends what the legal limit in your state is?
Usually its around 0.08, which is about 2-3 beers. Also depends how long you've stqayed for dinner, because a beer is out of your system after about an hour, hour and a half.

This really depends on your state? how much you weigh?, how long will you be there at the restaurant?, how much you have had/will have to eat?, how is enforcement in your area? Will there be dui check points? Are there special police squads looking specificly for drunk drivers? Are you in an area with a high concentration of bars? Are you going to have passengers (drunk or otherwise) who might attract attention to you? etc. There are parts of my town with a high concentration of bars and when the cops see people hooting and hollaring they pull the car over to check if the driver is drunk. Also, what kind of car do you have? Some cars are more "targeted" than others.

I am 180 lbs and I NEVER have more than 2 and I make sure it is with a full meal and I make sure that I am going to be there for at least 2 hours.

If you are smaller it might just be one or even none.

I think it depends on how much your body can take without getting tipsy.
I know a girl who gets tipsy after 2 or 3 beers.
But her and my friend can drink up to 7 beers and not feel the least bit tipsy.

So it kind of varies...

Way too many variables

1. Which state (different states, different laws)
2. How big you are (muscle mass )
3. How long it took you to drink them
4. What else is in your stomach, etc.

For safety sake, forget about the law. If you feel even the slightest buzz you should not drive for a while

Your best bet is not to drive, or have someone else drive. Or just not have beer when dinning, pick up a six-pac on the way home, relax in your easy chair, safely at home, and enjoy.

Honestly, no alcoholic beverages at all is the way to go. Too many people are getting arrested for DUI and DWI. Just stay at home if you are going to drink. It does depend on body weight and how much alcohol is consumed. Best bet...no alcohol and driving.

1 in theory - but if you live in a zero tolerance community - skip it and have a Murphy's or other near beer - personally I'd have a soda or tea and not sweat the ticket.

Probably about two. Maybe three if you're having a long dinner.
