Yep -- it's usually the same kind of people who tell me that I'm going to Hell for being Catholic. It must be nice to be able to tell God who He should let into Heaven and who He shouldn't.

Edit: Good grief -- what a bunch of tripe. That article bears the same resemblance to scholarship that Fox News does to real journalism.

It's not surprising. So many denominations and sects, therefore differences of opinions and interpretations.

I was raised an Antioch Orthodox Christian(my mother is Palestinian Christian) and also have had access to mainline Reformation churches(my 'Yankee' father is Presbytarian).
Neither church has 'warned off' of its members from reading C.S. Lewis.

I've read C.S. Lewis and have found some of his writings very moving. I'd take Lewis- who was a convert from Judaism to Christianity; any day over that Tim LaHaye born-again rapture-rightest extra-bibilical books and movies nonsense that so many self-proclaimed "born-again" Americans gobble up as gospel.
