We have finally paid off all debts except our one vechicle. How do we build up our credit now? Should I use my debit/credit card more as just a credit card? What will help?

Debit cards with a Visa/MC logo will not do anything to help you build your credit back up which ever way you use it. You need an actual credit card that you get a statement for each month. Make one or two small charges each month that you can pay off when it is due. Paying your vehicle payment on time every month will also help.

The best thing to do is pay EVERYTHING on time from here on out. Ovr time it will increase and it will not count as much against you. Building takes time. It is important not to become late on anything and not to max out your card. If you cannot pay it off in 30 days, which is what you should strive for, then keep your balance on your card below 50% of your limit.

You can find a complete list of credit cards to help rebuild your credit history here:

Although these offers tend to have higher interest rates (and additional fees) when compared to 'standard' credit cards, they'll give you the opportunity to build and improve your credit score over time. Eventually, with regular on-time payments-- you'll be able to qualify for better offers with lower APR's and less fees. But for now, these are your options...

Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

Pay all your debts on time from here and out AND
Never buy clothes , electronics , toys , furniture etc . . . that you can't afford to pay off in 30 days .
The bad stuff will start falling off your report in 7 years and you will be clean after that .
