The finance company will have a section on their website for payoff information. All you need is a particular form that allows another individual to payoff the lein and receive the title. If you can't find the section just call the lein holder.

Take the money an new owner to the loan company and pay off the car you will get the title an discharge of lean. Call before you go so they you have the a heads up on how they want the check or cash?Then to the tag agency or give him the title you will get the difference from him. Get a bill of sale before you go so there's not a mix up on price after the pay off.
