Native americans have more Anglos blood so they an look taller with lighter skin but still, they still look like mexicans.

They are two different races, there is no comparing that's like say American white and every other white person on the planet are the same so why don't they all go to America and have rights there.

Be advised. There is no human life native to this continent. A few years ago a group of nomads migrated across the Aleutian Island chain into what is now Alaska. There is still a tribe called the Aleuts.

Over a few more years some, apparently dissatisfied with the weather, headed south. A few kind of liked it in what is now Canada, but a few, still dissatisfied, went farther south. Over a period of a few more years they had migrated as far south as they could go. Some headed East from the coast. In what is now Mexico, there isn't very far East one can migrate.

It was thus that what is now considered the Northern and Southern American continents were settled... originally.
There are no "natives." Some just immigrated before others.

Then the Europeans came. They settled. They took land that had the earlier settlers figured belonged to them. So they fought. But they couldn't compete with the technology of the new settlers. So they lost their land. But, as seems to be the case with the United States when they conquer a nation, they granted special rights to the American Indian. Now the American can, break State laws on reservations because they are allowed to govern themselves.

We fought a war to keep the British from ruling us. We purchased some of the land, perhaps not for much by today's standards, but back then it was pretty substantial.

There were other countries who claimed land rights. But by treaty, force, or by purchase, the United States got what it has today. Among those countries we drove out was Mexico.

None of those countries has any right today to come back and say, "Um... we want it back," or, "We had our fingers crossed." The idea is moronic. It's like the U.S. saying, "Well, we took California. You say that California was once part of Mexico. I guess that means we also own Mexico. You say you deserve the same rights as the American Indian? Ok. here's your reservation. Mexican businesses, government, and the population now have to live there. You have the right to govern yourselves there. But the coasts, the garden spots, the rest... US soil." How does that grab you?

Not too long ago, the United States was a pretty big place. If you didn't like your neighbor, you could simply move 20 or 30 miles into what was then wild land. You never had to see your neighbor. If you really wanted to "get away," you could travel into the Rockies. There was enough land for everybody... and to spare. One could isolate themselves and live or die as they were inclined to work or not.

But things have changed. There is no place to expand. There is hardly enough room for the current population and none to spare. And your neighbor is now a few feet away... whether you like it or not. We don't have room for people to just arrive and settle. There is only so much of the United States left to go around. The rest of the world will just have to go through channels and enter legally. It takes a little more time, maybe, but at least those who enter will be obeying US law at the outset. And it gives the government of this country a little control of who we let in. If one is in the country illegally, how does anybody know if they're not a terrorist? If one is in the country illegally, aside from breaking our laws, how do we know that one is not a criminal evading punishment for crimes in his or her own country?

You have 99.8% the same DNA as any other given human being on this planet.
The point is not who looks like who (take the various nationalities in the area of Asia- they're all very different though they look alike), but where you live and under what nation's jurisdiction you live.
And it's considered, not conciderate.
And if you agree with your own theory, then Native Americans should be given back all of their original territory- from Canada and Alaska down through South America, should they not?
But then, where would all those Americans on their high horses who theorize without any basis of fact live?

if mexicans want to have the same rights as any other american citizens, they can apply to become a legal immigrant. there are mexicans in all colors and shapes, so i'm not impressed with the pictures. would you expect the blond mexicans to get some special deal with say, germany, or sweden? get a clue and get a life. your conclusions aren't worth the powder it would take to blow them to the moon.

and, btw, you do know, that your little display IS rascist, don't you?

edit: no, we do understand you, we just don't agree with you, and can't be gulled into saying we do. just because someone shares some physical characteristics with someone else doesn't mean anything beyond that. i can't see that any native american would sit still for the sort of game you're advocating, and in fact, didn't one of the posters say he was native american, and told to where to get off?

Native Americans were far before the Spanish dumped on Mexico and the other Latin regions. The Indians have been screwed with for hundreds of years but the differnce is they were her before us and the fought many courages battles to try to keep what was theirs.Lots tougher then just sneaking across the bioder then demanding rights.

They CAN have those rights. IN MEXICO.

My "race" (the word would be ancestry, but anyway I am Austrian/Czech) is very close to German, do you think I can go to Germany and demand the same rights as a German citizen? NO.

Mexican = MEXICO is your home. Anywhere else, you are a visitor. Visitors that act with grace are called WELCOME visitors. The others that make idiotic demands tend to be UNWELCOME, and are kicked to the curb quickly thereafter. Demanding equal rights as actual American citizens is idiotic...so, you know what? It's time to go home.

They're not Native AMERICAN, they're MEXICAN. Why should they be given right to stay in a different country?

And just because they look the same they should have the same rights?

So by your logic, because alot of Canadian people look French and speak French, the French should be given territory in Canada?

Duh, because IT'S NOT A RACIAL ISSUE!!!!

It doesn't matter what your genetics are or what you look like. It doesn't matter who your ancestors were. What matters is what government you and your family choose to support.

The Mexican people choose to support Santa Anna and all the rest who followed. The American people supported the constitution and a long line of US president and senators.

As far as the Native Americans go, the US government signed treaties and made deals with them to gain their land and to end hostilities.
