She'll be fine, just don't make it a habit. Cats don't need the sugar and some of the flavours won't do well on a cat's tummy. Plain yogurt with active bacterial cultures -- just a bit -- is good for cats; goats milk yogurt is better tolerated because it has smaller protein molecules than cow's milk yogurt.

I would stick with simple like vanilla. I wouldn't go with the dog stuff either. Not very much I would go as natural as possible maybe a teaspoon or tablespoon depending on how big kitty is and how much ice cream you have sneaked him in the past. regardless of what is "right" cats have been drinking milk on the farms for hundreds of years. Some cats cant drink milk. some people cant drink milk. It is not good for cats to have milk ice cream or cheese, but they love it and for a birthday it probably won't kill the cat. It has also been proven that milk causes breast cancer in human women and men but they still sell it at the store.

I love cats and own three of them. I've read up on this before, It's fine to give them a little bit of ice cream as a treat as long as it has no chocolate, grapes, or onion in it, though I don't think anyone would really want onion ice cream. You shouldn't let them have any of those foods anyway, they are all poisonous to cats, sometimes not grapes though.

Please do not give you cat ice cream, as it is most likely to upset your cats stomache. A lot of cats cannot tolerate milk and it is unnecessary. Would a cat have access to ice cream or milk in the wild after it leaves it's mother?

I note that one of your answers stated "try giving your cat chocolate". Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE CHOCOLATE TO A CAT OR A DOG IT IS TOXIC TO THEM. Some people should really stop and think before they pose such stupid answer's.

Good luck to you and your cat.

Cats love ice cream. I always share a bit with them when I have some. I am a little weary of giving them chocolate, but I will share anything else. They love anything creamy. Like yogurt too. They are good treats! So dont worry

Milk is bad for cats (despite the popular belief to the contrary) so ice-cream's not going to be very good for it. Saying that, a little bit of anything's ok and won't do any real harm. My old cat lived to the age of 22 and was particularly of whatever alcoholic drink anyone was drinking near her, particularly whiskey (a couple of drops off a fingertip- not a glass for herself!).

Yes it is very healthy to give your cat some of your ice cream and if it makes you feel any better you can help yourself to some go cat or kibble

Well,as long as the cat can digest it,that is,if it doesn't give the kitty diarrhea, then an occasional spoonful (teaspoonful) of plain vanilla ice cream will do no harm.My cat,Monty, loves ice cream, milk, and other dairy procucts, and he is very healthy. It depends on the cat's digestive system.

My two cats have been known to thieve crisps (salt and vinegar, no less!), popcorn, ice cream, rice and tomato soup, amongst other things. All have been in very small quantities, usually pinched off the plate when not looking, and it hasn't done any harm. Just don't encourage your cat to make a habit of it.
