I just noticed one day ago that my german shepherd puppy has a bump directly next to his penis. It's almost like there's a marble right beneath the skin (very hard) I'm pretty sure it's not his testicles, I can see & feel for the 2 testicles where they are supposed to be (the marble shape has been there for one whole day & hasnt moved) Then this morning, I went outside to greet him & he had 2 more marble like shapes, one on each side of his penis (along with the first one still up above) After about 15-20 seconds the 2 new bumps just dissapeared into his skin! Someone please help! I've never owned a male puppy before, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

It is the bulbous glandis, and they appear when the dog has to urinate, not only when he is aroused. It can appear idiopathically as well. Neutering doesn't remove them, and they are a normal structure of your dog's penis.

It happened to my dog and I was told it just means he's sexually excited. It goes away when he is not. It is used to help him tie with a female. My neutered male has it happen every once in a while.

Sorry the two disappearing bumps are normal- I'd talk to your vet about the 3rd permanent bump.

Very normal when males get excited. It is called the bulbous gland.
