well its not really my dream but my moms. she had a dream that we both smelled something rotting in our house and when i went up to the attic to check i found a dead crow. can anyone tell me what this means or what you think it means.

This is off the top of my head, but it could be that your mom is starting to think about you growing away from her or being more independent? Perhaps she's beginning to wonder how you'll both handle you being more focused on your own life. She might be wondering how well you can face the world and handle its challenges without her guidance or protection. Another possibility could be that she relies on you too much, or controls you a little too much and feels a little guilty about it.

To see a crow in her dream, represents her annoying habits and the darker part of her character. Her dreaming of the bird being dead foretells a period of coming disappointments. She will find herself worrying over problems that are constantly on her mind. Dreams are usually just parts of your past and sometimes future mixed together in the weirdest way. Like you may have seen a crow in the past and you may be thinking about old, smelly things in your attic.

It means that something very bad will happen in the next couple of weeks. Like a pet or family member die, or a friend. My grandmother interprets dreams and she has seen many people who have had he same dream. TRUST ME be ready for something. A crow dying is a bad bad thing. Your mom wont die.

I'm not a dream analyst or anything but most dreams I get that are really unpleasent just usually mean that I'm under alot of stress. I know when I need to chill because I start getting dreams about people cutting off my moms toes or being chased by a were wolf version of dog the bounty hunter.

wiccan_newyorker is right. it doesnt represent anything good. but thats no need to worry it doesnt mean something bad will happen. Just pay attention that you dont have any serious arguments or mood swings etc.
