All you have to do is go to file, save as, and when you type in the name of the picture, be sure to put .jpeg at the end.

Right click, copy, and paste into Microsoft Office Picture Manager. If it doesn't save as a jpg, simply select export from the file menu (in picture manager) and export it to the format .jpg.
You will find MOPicture Manager in Microsoft Office Tools

You need to use a screen capture software program which can save it in .jpeg file type. Try FastStone (http://www.faststone.org/FSCaptureDetail.htm). It is not free but it has a free 30 day trial period.

open that MSword file, press print screen, open MSpaint, press Ctrl-V or press edit paste inside MSpaint. now edit the pictures, press file save as, below the filename to be used in saving, there's an option if you want it saved as BMP or JPG. select one and save

after you scanned please open it then save it save as format that you need. or You can use Adobe Photoshop to change format. open Photoshop--->open picture u need to change extension--->file---->Save As---> Change exetion that you need. ok..finish. please enjoy it.
