Yeah, man, you can buy ANY part of a gun without a license, EXCEPT the reciever. It is the part that the BATFE considers to be the "firearm."

Sure. The firing pin is useless without the gun. Depending on what state you live in you might have to have a pistol permit before you buy a handgun.

The only gun part that the government-types really care about is the receiver--which is basically the frame of the gun, that all the other parts get attached to.
