Diatomaceous earth, where to find it?

I am using it for flea treatment in and around my house

It should be available in a gardening center. Do not use the diatomaceous earth found for pool filters it is not the same. I hope you have some very reliable resource that tells you how to deal with this. Breathing the dust from it can cause lung problems and it must be used very carefully whether being used as a flea treatment or a food supplement.

Try a pet store.. in the aquarium section! It's used in a filter for cleaning the water! diatomaceous-earth is sold all sorts of places ! Just make sure you get the right kind! Here's a link for info

In the fish filter section at pet stores and some health food stores carry it as it is a natural flea treatment... it eats into the shell of the flea.

Any place that sells pool and spa supplies. Some pool and spa filters use diatomaceous earth as a filter medium.

It's used as swimming pool filter media, so try any pool or seasonal supply store.
What would you use it for? If for microscopy, I don't know if the pool filter stuff has additives, or the "shells" have been crushed. For an insecticide?

You can find it at Lowe's. The kind you find at pool stores won't kill insects unless it's finally ground, remember it needs to be ground to a powder to be effective enough to kill insects.
