A deep, deep red. Or you can go the mafia route and get reall black roses by putting white roses in water and India Ink. The roses will draw the ink up into the flower. This is also the technique florists use to get different odd colored carnations. Different dye in the water.

there is no blue gene in roses, so the black is really a very deep red. A true black rose doesn't exist except in literature. Same thing for a blue rose......they are purple. Until science splices in a true blue gene, roses will not be blue.

From what I know about plants...
There isn't a plant that is truly black. They are a very, very dark purple.
