We all make tough choices to take care of our families. At least you know what you're getting into, and an intelligence job should be relatively safe. Good luck to you.

No your not but you are crazy for asking that question in here with all of the moronic trolls that pass through. Look man good for you I was a NAVET once when I went back in after a yr break I stayed until I had 20yrs and it was the bast move I made now I reap the Bennie's get a check every month so yea it is worth it. Look it sucks that the world is the way it is now I was lucky I ret in early 2000 but you understand the risks and plus you will definitely get more out of the Army than say 30yrs at 84 Lumber. How old are you? Look at this way by the time you are in your early 40's you be a getting a ret check and these saps who troll in here will working forever and hoping something like ENRON does not happen to there retirement.

Yes, Yes, and Yes!! My husband is over in Iraq right now and it's really not as bad as it may seem. Now don't get me wrong it has it's up's and down's but overall my husband was surprised it wasn't as bad as he thought. The paychecks are more than enough. Your family will support you in what-ever you do!! I will tell you now if you re-inlist, you Will go to Iraq no matter what. There are only 2 MOS's that don't deploy and they are all filled up (trust me we looked into it). If you are considering it just do it. My husband is in the 3rd ID, Field Artillery and is a 13 Fox. So we really didn't have a choice, LOL!! Go For It!! If you do I would like to thank you for all you do!!

Yes, You are doing the right thing for yourself and your family! In the years that you were on active duty did you have the oppurtunity to better yourself thru college courses, or prepare for after the military?
Were you just a worker or a supervisor/manager at 84 lumber?

Crazy? No, probably not...no more than I am for joining for the first time, at age 28, with three kids, and going into a combat MOS (Infantry). Maybe your reasons for coming back are the same as mine for joining...maybe not, but in any case, if you feel its the right decision for you and your family, then by all means, re-enlist.

I joined during a time of war. I have only been in here a year but I am already over here in Iraq. Don't let people who nerver served or never been here scare you. Tv sometimes makes it seem worse. Don't get me wrong, its hot, lonely and going out on missions suck because you can get hurt or killed. But we also have a/c nice trailers and such. Just seriously think about your decision and makes sure you get want you want in your contract and try to get the best deal. MI is a good MOS but you will be in AIT for awhile. Hope you have fun, come join us over here if you dare...lol!

Yes. As an intel bub, you won't go into combat. You will be much safer. Also, when you deploy you get the tax break. Also, your family will have a great support network. The pay and benny's are good man, go for it!

think about it long and hard.(BEEN IN 7 YEARS NOW)are you really sure you want to get back in? not trying to drag you down just remind you how hard it can be on your marrige.also you could also consider a DOD civilian job(hint, hint) most of the army depots are hiring by the thousands due to war effort.nice stable position that you will continue on that 20 to retire.all that and less strain on your family.look into letterkenny AD,tobyhanna AD,rock island arsenal, red river ammo dump, etc.they need personnel in that capacity also.just a friendly idea.

You know what forget you.The army simply has a stereo type that your gonna die by an arab. Thats not true. 90% of people that join the army don;t really care of the damn countries safeness. What they want is a career, money for education, and experience (ext) The army is awesome and you don;t die like you would every 5 seconds in videogames. its a great experience sometimes. Its suckas like that you dumb nut that keep you safe from damn stupid peolple in the world. You deserve to live in IRaq.

Only you can say if you're doing the right thing.
If you still believe you'd be serving your country honorably, even if deployed to Iraq, then you have every right to believe that, and to be proud of serving.
