It looks pretty good. I like the fact that they take the dog back of you can no longer keep the dog, but they should offer a lifetime health gurantee against congenital defects, not just 2 years.
I would ask for references and talk to people that have purchased from this breeder.
Also, a good breeder will tell you the good and bad about the breed, the dog, the parents, etc. so if the seem too perfect and sales-personish, I would be skeptical.

Ok I looked at this breeder from top to bottom. The fact that they are willing to take the pup back doesn't impress me. Every good breeder should do that but the 2 years health guarantee is just crap. What they don't say is that the health testing is certified. They just say they have their dogs screened. Big difference. I would call them and ask if the hips, elbows and heart and eyes and thyroid have been OFA certified. If they say no then tell them thank you very much and keep looking. They have not shown any of their dogs not that that matters too much but it is a concern.
Sorry I tend to very picky about Golden's. Were you planning to go to see these dogs and visit the kennel in person?? If not than please be very , very careful.
I would give them a call or send them an e-mail expressing your interest in their dogs first. OK
Personally I'd give these people a pass. That's just me.

honestly; it is not necessary to go to a breeder. You can go to your local shelter and odds are you will find a golden retriever there. Otherwise; go to www.petfinder.org ; just type in the age of the dog you want, gender, breed, size, and then your zip code and a list of rescue groups in your area with golden retrievers will appear. Odds are you will also spend a lot less on the dog; and might even get a more loving and more grateful dog because you saved it (sounds cliche i know but its true) Pure breds can be rescued; goodluck

I am new to answers. One of the first people I contacted via e-mail was Golden gal. I am looking for a Golden pup. Through many conversations with her I now feel very confident that I can go to any breeder and make a wise and informed decision. She knows more about this breed than just about anyone I had previously asked for help. She supplied me with what ever information about herself and her dogs that I asked for with out hesitation. She was Not in any way A Back yard breeder. I am not the type of person to point fingers but it seems to me that if someone is going to slander someone they should be able to back up what they claim. If they can not then a apology is in order. So far I see none! I think that in it self speaks volumes of the character and motivation of the person who made the accusations in the first place. Pity! I for one will continue to seek her advice as I continue my hunt for a pup and once I do I know I will be asking Golden gal many questions. As for her to publicly disclose her Kennel name well since she is now retired why should she? I have not seen any other person on this site do so. Ahhhh just another ploy to discredit someone by yet another lay person with. You keep up your wonderful advice and helping those of us who need it Golden gal! I for one thank you and applaude you!

Quick glance, the only thing I wonder about is the mere 2 year written health guarantee.. As it says

"Puppy would be replaced with a pup of equal value in any findings of congenital disease that would take the life of the dog up to 2 years of life. "

and also

"In the unlikely event that a Goldenway’s Retreiver is suspected of being “Severly dysplastic” it’s first 2 years, the following procedure must be followed."

What is their definition of Severely dysplastic? Unable to walk, unable to be a good pet, needs to be put down ?? what ??

Also in order to collect on the replacement it says

"~Puppy must be signed over and returned to us, not overweight and never have been used for breeding purposes."

If you are't buying the dog to breed, you are buying it for a companion.. If within that 2 year period you need to collect on the health agreement, will you be willing to give up the first dog that you have been loving for 2 year? They know that 99% of the people won't return that first dog in order to collect a health y dog.. That's why it's stated that way. They should offer you to keep the dog if you want, or return it at your option.. Not insist on it's return in order to get your healthy dog.

Why don't you look into a local golden retriever club, meet some member/breeders, and learn about their dogs, health clearances, etc.
Reputable breeders don't usually have to advertise, sell by word of mouth and generally work from a waiting list, and belong to their regional and national breed clubs.

go to: www.puppyfind.com put in Golden Retriever in the upper left. Almost all of those listed have reviews given by customers. I just bought a Pappillon on this website and it worked out perfect. But I read the reviews carefully.
