Hey!
JW's believe they are fulfilling the commandment by Christ to go into all the world and preach the gospel (good news).
Their governing body located in New York resides over the group world wide and basically demands that they put in so much door to door or witnessing time per month. They keep logs of this time. You are considered a good JW in good standing for doing this and other things. They have to put out so many booklets/magazines per month.
(By the way, I don't take their literature because I refuse to help them make their quota. Also it is forbidden for them to take anyone else's literature. They will be reported.)
JWs also keep track of houses which are receptive to their material or "witnessing". They black ball houses which are hostile to them or contain beliefs contrary to theirs such as Christians like myself who understand their Bibles. They prefer homes which have little Bible training because then they can sell you on their beliefs because as I always say, When you don't know the truth, you'll believe any lie.
I am not a JW but I have studied their doctrines, and background because I was going to be a JW once upon a time.
God's best to ya,

This questioner asks:
"...What happens after Satan is jailed for 1000 years?..."
'Moises' explained the first of your questions...
To add to that:
From that point on & forevermore, no badness will ever be allowed. Everyone then living will have been educated about --& have come to appreciate-- Jehovah God's right to Sovereignty. If anyone should become disloyal --and there is truly NO genuinely logical or beneficial reason to do so-- they will be removed...
All wickedness will thus be eradicated, FOREVER.
Everything will be as God originally intended, and,
there won't be ANY room for improvement! (:
"There are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." --2 Peter 3:13
"...A loud voice from the throne said:
'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and
he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And
God himself will be with them. And
he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and
death will be no more,
neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
The former things have passed away.'" --Revelation 21:3,4

Cause Jesus command to do it , he did it , and we follow his example, in fact we are leaving in the end times
Jehovah´s witnesses preach what will Jesus do during his 1000 year kingdom, are you agree?
What will Jesus do during his 1000 year kingdom? Jehovah ´s witness preach that Jesus after Armageddon and destruction of evildoers, Satan and his demons will be "Jailed" for 1000 years in the mean time Jesus will rule the earth with a group redeemed from earth (Revelation 5:10, 14:1-5) will resurrect people (Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29) will provide food and eliminate famines (Psalm 72:16) will restore the health of humans (Isaiah 35:5-6, 33:24) will eliminate the death and the cause of the death and suffering (Revelation 21:4) in resumen will transform the earth in a great place to live a "new earth" the original purpose of God with Adam and Eve before they sinned (Genesis 1:28) .
After 1000 years , Satan will be release and mankind will have a second test and after that Satan will be cast into the lake of fire (destroyed) and Jesus give the kingdom to his father (Jehovah) (1 Corithians 15:28)

I hate to correct you but they say only 144,000 will be saved. Which is still not accurate. And you're right why would anybody join because certainly if you happen to be number 144,001 (according to their false doctrine) you wouldnt make it. This is why JWs aren't really Christians. They deny the divinity of Christ, the deny person of the Holy Spirit. Their translation of Bible is full of errors.
The deny Christ so much they don't call it Old Testament/New Testament but Hebrew Scriptures/Greek Scriptures.
They dont call it Church (because that would recognize Christ as its head) they call it "kingdom hall".
They are in serious error to the point of heresy.
When they come to your home they are only trying to do what God commanded which is spread the gospel..but the problem is it is a false gospel. They say Jehovah is the name that matters...the Bible says Jesus Christ is the name above all others....after all God and Christ have many, many names throughout the Bible. It is the name is Jesus that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess... (Phillipians 2:10,11)
When they come to your home, if you dont know your Bible, don't talk to them.
But if you know the Word of God and have the power of the Holy Ghost, you should share with them the true Word of God and let the Word declare to them the false doctrines of their sect.
I believe they mean well and many of them a wonderful people but they are in error. Pray for them as do I...

JW's run their outfit like a sales organization. They are trained in recruiting techniques, and how to use the Bible to counter common arguments. The have strategies for Catholics, Jews, Atheists, Protestants, Muslims, and Evangelicals. Once they completed their training, a JW cannot advance in the organization unless they have a certain amount of converts. Worse, if a JW does not bring in any visitors, they could be demoted or ex-communicated.

I don't know about what they believe regarding the 144 thousand. Maybe they changed that.
They are just sharing their belief with people. I don't take their literature since I will never read it and I tell them I am happy with my religion so they don't waste their time on me. I try to be nice even though they are bothering me.

It takes a certain type of courage to go out and "witness" like they do, knowing that they will be ridiculed and avoided. It's part of the reinforcement of their beliefs. Perhaps rejection keeps them together as a group, much like the Jews.

Sigh.
They do try.
Buddha is my following and he can be found by anybody who wishes to know him without any cold calling.
Please do not give the Muslims or the Jews any idea about coming knocking on the door. Security will be a lot harder to enforce.

I am not a JW, but I do believe they take this scripture seriously and do their best to comply according to their understanding:
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (Mark 16:15 - 16)

The preaching work is performed because Jesus commanded it, not because it benefits Jehovah's Witnesses personally or as a religion. As a side point, Jehovah's Witnesses expect that many thousands of the 144,000 have never set foot in a Kingdom Hall or read 'The Watchtower'.
The fact is that the vast majority of Witnesses hope to enjoy life ON EARTH forever, rather than in heaven. Jehovah's Witnesses understand heaven to refer to the dwelling place of spirit creatures such as Jesus and the angels. They understand the Scriptures to teach that exactly 144,000 humans will join Christ Jesus as kings and priests to administer God's Kingdom (which will soon replace all earthly governments).
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
(Revelation 14:1) Lamb [Jesus] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
(Revelation 20:6) they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him
The men and women who make up the 144,000 are selected by God from among two thousand years of Christians. Over whom will they rule? Over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
Hell is NOT someplace/something mankind needs to fear; there is no suffering in the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
Almighty Jehovah God selects those few who have the heavenly calling. Each person "feels" his own hope and each person's hope remains unquestioned by his fellow Christians. Still the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%*) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
