are you serious? you would WALK AWAY from your child, never to be with them again (and don't give me this stuff about being together again one day)....
now, IF i decided to walk away from my children for some reason this would be abandonment...isn't that what you would be doing? wouldn't that be wrong in His eyes what's the difference

God comes first,,,then family. Every Christian accepts this as what the Scriptures teach us to do. Will they be able to put God first if it comes to that? Some of them put their children first, now...
Any thing you put in front of God is considered an Idol..you can idolize your children..or your car...or your looks..or your money...anything that comes between you and serving God. Fame has led many away from God. I believe it will one day, come down to dieing with your unbelieving child or living with God.
I think I will be gone before the end times are here,,, considering I am already as old as dirt... LOL...
Armageddon-----keep your eyes on Israel..
Read Ezekiel 38-39 in great detail.
It was also propheseid of Israel that in the last days she would be "Encompassed on all sides by her enemies" who seek to destroy her. One need only look at a map today of the middle east and see how Islamic states surround Israel on all sides...and Islam's ultimate goal is to annihilate Israel, whom they call the illegal "Zionist Regime."
Iran's madman of a president has publically declared that he will annhilate Israel in one great "single storm!" (Check out Ezekiel 38:8-9),

Well, I'm not a Christian, and may have asked the question you're referring to (though I don't know, there may have been others...). But nothing could come between me and my children. Nothing. Even if there was a god, he couldn't either.

I may have carried my daughter for 9 months, birthed and raised her, but she is not mine she belongs to God. She is just on loan to me to raise and love and show her the path to God. If it is God's will that I leave my child(she is 24) then yes I would leave my child. We all will make this choice one day, to leave those we love, that day is the day the death comes.

Even when I believed in the Big Sky Daddy I would never have chosen Him over or loved Him more than my daughter. That is just plain CRAZY!

“If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. 38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. 39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it. (Matt 10: 37-39)
Those were the words of Jesus himself, so if you want to be true to God, that would have to answer the question. We must remember God gave His child for us.

It shouldn't surprize you that Christians would chose their God over there children as they believe it's okay to burn your children if they are not perfect and to burn them forever.....we are not dealing with people who have a stable mind when it comes to parenting......very sad that any parent would chose anything over their own off spring.

The choice is not mine to make. My children are on loan to me from God just as everything is on loan to us from God. It would be His Will that would be done, not mine.
In His Love,

What's funny is that "choosing God" is actually looking out for your OWN interests, if you believe in God. (meaning it is the most selfish choice)
