Yas. He was very much himself and more than it ;-) Relatives, being Christian Palestinians are not too popular nowadays.

Try derivatives of names, and maybe localisations of Jewish surnames. Many Jews who escaped from occupied Europe in World war 2 took on names which sounded more English, to ease pronunciation, and reduce risk of persecution (many Jews were German, and many within the populations of the Allies thought refuges as being the same as the Germans)
By the way I though Jewish children take their mother's surname, at the time the child is born, not that of the (presumed) father. If the mother is married then this issue wouldn't show up, as the parent's surnames become the same. Reasoning is brilliantly simple, even with genetic testing it's easy to PROVE who ones mother is, but ones father can be a very different matter. What was Mary (mother of Jesus)'s surname anyway?
Surnames only came into usage fairly recently. Don't know enough about the history of Jewish culture to know if Jewish culture in Palestine used them during the Roman Occupation.
Standard Bible doesn't mention any siblings, nor a wife, or offspring. If there were any, then the standard decided remove any references to them. Think that there are a few old sources which mention/suggest other "relationships" like a wife, but not read the sources, so cannot really say. Like the Bible they to would be subject to the discretion of the editor..

No girlfriend, no wife, but brothers.
One very plausible explanation for everything, taking into consideration Scripture and traditional beliefs would be.
Mary was a virgin, and remained so until her death (only the Roman Church believes, without foundation in scripture or tradition, in the Assumption of Mary) The Orthodox doesn't, neither do the rest of us.
Joseph may have been much Older than Mary, possibly widowed with children (Jesus' half brothers).
Scripture says nothing about Joseph after the return from Egypt. We assume Joseph had died. If he was substantially older than Mary it's possible.
Just food for thought.
On the lighter side. Confessional Lutheran doctrine does subscribe to the doctrine of the perpetual virginity of Mary. Our rather young (married) Pastor said that if he was in Joseph's position with as young wife, he would probably explode without intimacy, but added that all things are possible with God.

Christ is not a surname, but a title. It is derived from the Greek word translating the Hebrew title, "Messiah", meaning "anointed" or "chosen one". Reisnoh and Mikalina have given you his name - the English equivalent would be Jesus, son of Joseph.
The "baby Jesus" had no brothers or sisters because he was the first-born to his mother, Mary, who was a virgin at the time of his conception. However, he had several younger brothers and sisters, as recorded in the Gospels (in the New Testament.)
No wife or girlfriend. As regards the da Vinci code and the yarn about Mary Magdalene, remember which shelf you find it on in the library - fiction.

In first century Palestine, the Jewish community didn't have surnames as we know them. You would normally have a name like Simon Bar-Jonah meaning Simon son of Jonah.
Originally, Jesus would have been known as son of Joseph. However, there were rumours that he was illegitimate and his enemies called him son of Mary.
He called himself the son of man which can also be translated as son of Adam. Man calls him the son of God.
The Hebrews called him the Messiah and he had also been known as the King of the Jews and he has also been known as the Nazarene.
You could do web searches on the rest of your question to learn some more. It has been suggested that he took a partner, and that he had brothers and sisters.

Surnames as we know them did not arise until the Middle Ages. Before that people were known by their father's name, birth place, place of residence, or occupation.
The Bible is silent on whether Jesus was married or even had a girlfriend.

"Christ" was not a "surname" in the modern sense, but a title, comparable to "Messiah" from Hebrew.
Brothers and sisters: yes, they are mentioned several times in scripture. Wife: No! that is a bit of fiction.

Jesus's actual Hebrew name was something like Joshua ben Joseph, (or Yeshua ben Joseph)
Jesus is called 'the Christ', which means 'anointed one', 'the Christ' is not a last name

Jesus is his Greek name. Christ or the Christ is his title. He would have been known as Yeshua ben Yosef (Yeshua son of Yosef) in his own time. This to the best of my knowledge.
