The question was who was the first woman to qualify for a busch race?

March 28, 1982 -- Diane Teel, a school bus driver from York County, Va., is the first female to qualify for a NASCAR Busch Series race. She starts 19th and finishes 10th in a 250-lapper at the Martinsville (Va.) Speedway

miamifan is right
Shawna is not even close to be the first woman in NASCAR. I think Janet Guthrie had the first weekly ride in NASCAR in the mid 70's with a temp agency Kelly Girl, I think can't remember exactly (I thought it was a tire company Kelly tire but saw it was Kelly girl and found Kelly girl was around then but Kelly Tire was not).
