I was watching Naruto and some other kinds of anime that show the hero and his opponent appearing behind each other's back while fighting so I was wondering if this is disappearance and appearance is possible in real life fighting.

Yes you can but it is very hard. every human has a blind spot on their vision. Or at least most do. If you angle yourself in their blind spot just like in an Automobile you can in a way dissapear from view and be behind them with fast foot work and good timing in their blind spot or if they are distracted.

IT is not easy to do, I think i have pulled it off once or twice in 30 years.

good luck

Not in the sense in which you specify, but there are techniques in which part of the body or the entire disappears from the opponent's field of vision. This can be done by blocking the opponent's view with a part of your body or a part of his/her own body. For example, if he/she throws a right straight jab, his/her view of your left side would be blocked, rendering a body-blow able to connect unseen. I suppose if you are fast enough, the same situation could be played out where you would duck the jab and move to the outside to the opponent's back.

Otherwise, short of smoke, mirrors, and/or special effects, you won't be able to disappear/reappear, throw fireballs, fly through the air, or make multiples of yourself while chanting.

EDIT: I neglected to mention the martial art of Bagua, which focuses on circling the opponent to find the best point of attack. One best point could be a blindspot.

In a matter of speaking, yes.

You don't actually disappear, you move so fast that it seems that way to the naked eye.

In order to be that fast, you need to train with master Roshi, and you'd also learn the kamehameha technique as a bonus.

Yep, it's pretty simple, I've done it once before. All you do is poke em in the eyes and when they flail around blindly you circle to their rear and shout BOO! behind their ear or say hi by kicking em in the nuts from behind : P

Yes but you must first spike your opponents Diet Coke with a mixture Mentos and crack and then to them you can also fly and walk through walls.
