Why? to make sure you're sleeping in the right side? Anyway what about under the floor boards and in the cupboards? you might want to cut open the mattress to check they are hiding in the springs. Hey! if you go to the bathroom in the night you had better just take the top off the cystern and use a mirror to check round the U bend.

I sleep under my bed and put pillows and padding on top of the bed and cover those with a blanket. Then I check for bullet holes in the morning.

I used to till I bought my new storage containers. Now I don't think anything evil will fit under my bed anymore.
