Should be self explanatory but I am not talking about any church I am talking about the people.

I think it is because that they have been thought wrongly about giving they expect the return at every moment.

Once again, please do not lump all evangelicals into one group. I know a lot of them who live modest lives, give their 10% (and extra sometimes, to sponsor youths on a mission trip), and believe that money can easily become an idol.

Yes, there are some evangelical preachers that do preach prosperity, but for every one that does, there are dozens that do not.

False religion is the biggest culprit. If you have false religious leaders teaching the masses other than what God's word, the Bible truths are, then the masses will follow---those who don't wake up and realize that they are sadly being misled.

Most however, love living the lie because nothing --- no hard work to bring their lives in harmony with godly standards is required of them. In essence, they love living the lie.

That is the short of it.

Are they? I hadn't noticed that being the case...Do you have evidence of this? Can you prove it? Sorry, but without proof,,...

?expecting a return????I am expecting the return of Christ at any moment....I can feel the hot breath of one of those horses on my neck....no, wait a minute..that's my dog, Solo....but I can hear the sound of approaching hoof-beats....

I haven't been thought wrongly...although I have wrongly thought before....did you mean taught? I am so confused...but I am sure of one thing.....

because for so long we have been tricked into thinking God wants us to be poor. and God did say he will give you 30, 60 or a100 fold return. and he also said try him and see if he return it generously. If you are christian or not don't try and get a reaction by fighting them. Gather the evidence yourself by reading the bible without a narrowminded thinking and then ask this question again. there is no need for forceful and acid questioning or trying to disrespect others beliefs. thank you

I couldn't agree with you more. We call them the "bless me's". They give to get back 10 fold. They preach tithing to get those tithes. It's terrible. I'm not saying they are all like that but many are. God is their judge.

Hmmm, It could be that they need to eat, and buy gas, and pay airlines, and sleep somewhere, and have socks, and pay the rent, and feed the kids, and buy a tire that went flat, and everything else ,that ANY human deals with everyday..

Peace & God bless from Texas <><

Falsehood spreads through wealth and political power.

Truth only needs Iman and Amaal.

i am saddened by people who have so much they don't need . and only want more because that would be equal to what they have and nothing to do really to what they can give . they want stocks , bonds , mutual funds , fancy cars , like cancer cells who only take and never give . a real christian can park his moderate car in the garage because they do not have more than they need , and they are rare .
