The rule of thumb is 100 lbs plus 5 lbs for every inch over 5feet, so you should be around 130 pounds. Remember, everyone is different though. Good Luck!

Given the epidemic of obesity in the United States you do not want to know the average weight. I believe what you want to know is the appropriate weight. This is determined by body mass index - your weight in kilograms divided by your height in meters squared. The 'normal' or lean range is 18.5 to 25 kg/m2 which is 115 to 155 pounds (52 to 70 kilograms).

Hello Dear;
Anywhere from 115 up to 154 depending on your frame and muscle mass. As you may know muscle weights more than fat so a 5'6" woman that weights 150 and it is all muscle can look better and be in better health than one that weights 115 and has no muscle mass.
I hope it helps... ; )

Look on a chart.
But it's not weight that matters- muscle weighs heavier than fat. As long as you look and feel good, then thats okay. But if you are going to go on a diet and exercise, measure yourself around the waist rather than weighing yourself!
