I read somewhere that most dogs will go crazy for ... Aniseed. It might be worth trying it with some aniseed balls(sweeties/candy) or a small bottle of food flavouring. If it doesn't work then you can eat the aniseed balls or cook with the flavouring, so there's no financial loss. :-)

I don't think dogs "discriminate" as much among scents- as cats do. To dogs, the RAUNCHIER & more DISGUSTING it smells- the MORE they love it! :)
