Did you check the ingrediants with the vet? If not, I suggest you do so, the only time I've used human cream on my cats is when Penne had cracked pads and the vets said it was okay to use the same moisturiser that I use for my eczema, but she checked the ingrediants first so it's best that you phone them up and ask and make sure it is rubbed in really well so that there is nothing left for the cat to lick and ingest.
Hope this helps.

First of all, suicide is not selfish. It means you have tried so hard and you just are falling apart. I won't pretend to know what it's like because I don't know. But a few months ago, I found out my little sister had cut a time or two. It destroyed me inside, I cried myself to sleep for days and didn't talk or pay attention in school the rest of that week. However I never let her see it because I knew I needed to be strong for her, and I needed to show her that yes I know, but I won't say anything because I know how embarrassed she was. So before I go on talking about my crisis, I just felt like saying, if all these people you've never met care about you, keep pushing. I don't know what it feels like to be that down, but I can promise you that I'll always be telling you in my head to keep on pushing, because you are worth it, and you can fight this. I'll end there before I start bawling. Ps. Have you tried simple over the counter medications such as tums or white foods and ginger ale?

Animals lick their wounds to help them heal. They have a property in their saliva which actually helps to heal, thats why they lick a lot and heal quickly.
DO NOT;
- use soapy water
- tea tree cream
Your cat is an animal, not a human and does not need to be washed with soap!
DO;
If you feel the need to use something, the best thing to do is use luke warm salt water OR luke warm tea and bathe the wound with it.

The triple-antibiotic cream is just fine. Clean the wound with gentle soapy water first... then put on the ointment... if you have it rather than the cream as it will stay on better. Cortisone ointment or cream can also be used when that seems more appropriate to you.

Lanacane is ok to use with a cat. Check with the vet as to which other medications are all right for a cat.

It should be fine, just try to keep your cat from licking it off. I do the same thing with my dogs and have never had a problem.

That is just fine our medicines are exactly the same anyway. They just have different doses then us on pills and stuff, and theirs is named different.They would have done the same thing at the vet.

If you used Neosporin, it will be no problem. Even if your cat licks the wound, it won't have any adverse effects to its system.

Well it should be OK, but animals will lick their injuries and this could affect digestion, so I would'nt overdo it, hope its better soon.
