Old Mcgeezer slept with his wife in bed everyday. he loved his wife very dearly and would do anything to protect her.
When he came to bed one night he said to his wife I love you and kissed her.
She truned over and said what did u do?
and then he said I missed the toilet and the worst part is I was sitting down....

Yes, that is pretty funny.
But I would get rid of the first line ("Old Mcgeezer slept with his wife in bed everyday. he loved his wife very dearly and would do anything to protect her") - if he loved his wife so much and slept with her everyday, she may not suspect him of something when he kisses her and says "I love you".
Maybe an intro describing their relationship as relatively rocky or "past it's prime". Or no intro at all. You could just open with "One night a husband came to bed, kissed his wife, and told her he loved her."
But that was very good. Bravo.

1. Learn to spell or at least use spell check
2. Only tell jokes that make sense
