The ability to procreate is a gift from God the Creator that enables us to share in His holy act of Creation. This is why the Church can and should have something to say about it.
Procreation is a literal fulfillment of the Scriptures: "the two shall become one flesh" (Gen. 2:24) because the man's DNA and the woman's DNA combine to make a unique human being with his/her own DNA. Also, God commanded us to "be fruitful and multiply" which is in Genesis 1:28. So the issue of procreation is very much a religious issue.
To accept the pleasures of that action (procreation, I mean) while rejecting the responsibility of that action (parenthood) to the point of using artificial means to thwart the reproduction system that He created and openly disobey the command to multiply is an abject insult to God.

You'll probably want to research the alternatives the Church offers, like the rhythm method. I'm fairly sure you can dig up some quotes on encouraging large families.
I doubt you'll win, but the point of these sorts of exercises is to learn to debate for and against things you do and don't believe in. General tips, consider the points they'll raise, and build a counter argument from that, research the effectiveness of contraceptives, and be prepared to have to concede defeat on certain points.

There really is no "argument" When you say the role of the church.... which church? Just because another group does not support your stand against birth control doesn't make them "anti-church" It just means they are against your particular belief in this one thing.
The other reason there IS no argument is because you cannot argue about a matter of personal belief and personal opinion. You don't want birth control. OK. don't use birth control. The other side believe in it. Not your business. Besides they have a whole lot of good argument on their side. This human species of ours has waaaay overdone the "being fruitful and multiply" thing. They have done it selfishly, indiscriminately, and irresponsibly to the point they have contributed to straining the resources of this planet to breaking point, and the destruction of the precious balance of the Ecosystem.
You want to win this argument? You wont. And the reason you wont is because there are way too many people around these days who have already decided that YOU have no right to tell THEM whether or not they reproduce. Sexuality is a natural instinctive urge, and it is medically known these days that there are powerful psychological repercussions negatively affecting those who force themselves, or ARE forced, to deny their natural sexual outlet. They have every right to gratify that sexual outlet, even when they know that they do not want to breed. You can shout all you want, the march is on, and will continue..... the march of those who believe that it is not the right of any other group to dominate their sexual freedom in this matter.
My bet is that the ONLY answers you are going to bring to this debate of yours, are the ones that support YOUR position. You will not have the nerve to present this one, I guarantee.

You can only win through lies and deceit. Sorry, but you're on the losing team. There is no logical argument supporting the church's role in birth control.
(Unless you want to argue from the stand-point that babies fill the church coffers...)

Neither is right ,But the Bible is always right and the Holy Bible the word of our lord God says be fruitful and multiply,it should be between you and your spouse. Not you and the church or group. When you get married you and your mate become one in flesh because of your sexual relationship and your vow in marriage is between you, your spouse and God. your marriage then becomes like a three cord rope,it is hard to break. When you make that vow with God the father.

I'm a Christian and pro-birth control. Why breed them if you can't feed them. It's some awesome medical (thus scientific) way for us to control the children we do or do not have. Birth control means a condom, pills, visectomy. Not abortion. Do do believe that birth control can be used for several things: to regualte a crazy period and between married couples. I use it for my crazy period lol
