Any way you can imagine... it can be fried, sauteed, baked, broiled, boiled, marinated in lime juice. The list goes on :)
Try going to food.yahoo.com and type in "shrimp" in the search engine. You'll find lots of good recipes and ideas on how to cook it!
My favorite way is to sautee them. Put oil in a pan, put in some minced garlic and paprika. Toss the shrimp in until pink and well-done. Seafood seasoning works well! You can always sprinkle some lemon juice on top. You can tell when shrimp is done when it turns pink and shrinks in size. Make sure they're deveined and shelled (you can leave the tails on).

Shell and devein the shrimp before cooking, if you like (see Related eHows for instructions).
To cook a pound of shrimp, bring two quarts of water to a boil.
Salt the water lightly. You can also add some lemon juice, if desired.
Shut off the heat and pour the shrimp in the water all at once.
Let them steep about 3 to 5 minutes, or until done. Shrimp are best when cooked gently.
Check by cutting one in half. If its flesh is opaque throughout, it's done.
Remove them from the cooking water immediately.
Tips & Warnings:
Quickly boiling or poaching shrimp is the most common method, but shrimp can be cooked virtually any way: in a skillet with butter or oil, in a fryer, on a barbecue grill, in a steamer, or in a hot oven.
Shrimp overcook quickly and become very tough. Medium shrimp (2 or 3 inches long) only take about 2 minutes to cook; larger shrimp take 3 to 5 minutes.
Cook shrimp in their shells, if possible. The shells protect the delicate meat as it cooks and add some flavor. Shell and devein them after cooking.
Add cooked shrimp to hot dishes only at the very end of the cooking time so they won't continue cooking.
Be careful to avoid overcooking the shrimp or they will toughen and lose flavor.

I buy 30-40 medium shrimp. Then I devein them and clean them. I then place them in a thin baking pan. First I melt a half stick of butter, then I pour it over the shrimp. I cut up two lemons and squeeze juice over the shrimp and then place lemons in pan with shrimp. I cut up about 10 cloves of garlic and put in the pan with the shrimp. I then sprinkle a little salt and pepper on them. Then I broil them for about 5 to 10 minutes.

I cook my shrimp by boiling it. I put some water in a pot with old bay seasoning and throw the shrimp in it. When the shrimp are a pink color and float to the top they are done.

I like deep fried shrimp.
If they are large you might want to de-vein the shrimp, rinse and drain well.
Place shrimp in a bowl, add salt and pepper and about 2 tbsp. of yellow mustard, stir and let sit in the fridge for a few minutes to marinate.
Drop shrimp a few at a time in plain flour to coat them well and deep fry until lightly brown.

First you must clean and de-vein them (take out the little black lines) What I like to do is mix butter and lemon juice in a pan, add some black pepper and garlic and fry them...cook them until they change color, almost like a beigy pink.

Don't boil it loses its flavor, and you don't really have to devain it it, it depends on ur likings...onion, garlic, maggi, tomato, ketchup, pinch of curry, black pepper, lett it simmer then add shrimp and vegatables, lett it simmer for another5-7 min. if the sauce is thickening keep adding tablespoons of water...

Peel the shell off, remove the feet, slice down the back and remove the "poop shute" and drop in boiling water until they are bright pink. At that point if you don't eat them, you can freeze.
