Nah they're not. There are currently six and a half billion human beings on the planet and the "christian dominists" are waaay short of having enough juice for that. You have to remember there are millions of regular decent folk who happen to subscribe to the christian faith who are not anywhere close to being the nutters and wackoes that you are really talking about. They believe what they believe, and they go quietly and decently about living by their religious credo. They harm nobody and they do not go around trying to shove their religous beliefs up the noses and down the throats of others.
I would like to mention that there are millions of decent people who belong to the Muslim Faith who are exactly like that too. We only hear about the crazies because they are the only ones who make the news.

They are certainly contributing to slow progress. They're keeping a large part of the population sedated with all the God stuff. If only people realized how much better life for everyone could be if they developed the minds. Belief in God doesn't permit that.

I need more information to answer your question. Who are the "christian dominists" and how do you think they are destroying the world? Define "christian dominists" please and describe the destructive action.

If everyone was really following the teachings of Christ there would be nothing but peace in the world, show me one violent teaching that Christ taught his followers, show me one teaching that taught his followers to dominate others, your statement in wrong my friend, these people you claim to be dominating christians is a contradictory statement.
