Um....

*Human nature allows, or rather enforces, that people are curious. When they have a question; they want an answer--think of how a child has questions. When they want to know something, they ask--because when you wonder something, you are inclined to *want* to know. Therefore, as people wonder about things such as miracles, the way the world began, life after death, etc., they need an answer--when they cannot come across one, they get creative, and find religion, in my opinion.

*With God, it seems that good people will find their place in heaven, where they will live happily. If God is inexistent, they are simply...gone. People fear that the latter is possible; therefore, they believe in the first. However, a sliver of doubt remains, and they question it; they ask whether God does or does not exist.

*In this world, things seem to have split--some people are incredibly religious, others are not religious at all. These opposing sides spark arguments and debates as to who is "right," as being "right," brings power. Therefore, people search to determine the truth behind this; they would like to know whether God does or does not exist.

*I think that, without God, some people would have little hope for their lives. They feel each good thing is a blessing, and each bad thing is meant to be learned from--many pity these people for feeling this way. This sparks controversy, and yet again, people search to find out whether or not God exists.

Its the same way with anything else. Why do some people believe in war? Why do some people believe in spirits and ghosts? Its only according to how you were raised and taught to believe. Its not so much of if its God or Buddha or Muhammad or any other God. Its more of do you believe? Its belief. We all believe in different lthings. You don't have to believe in these Gods or anything else. The existence of God matters because people have been raised to believe in this. Religion is a very personal subject. We all have our beliefs in different things.

For one I think it matters because so many people have died in his name, I think if people knew there was no "god" then a lot of the wars through history that have been fought in the name of religion would not have happened.
Plus I think believing in god or gods costs a lot, people would stop wasting so much money.
A lot of kids wouldn't get molested, granted all molesters aren't priests.

Why does it remember despite if somebody believes God exists or no longer ? simply by fact despite if or no longer they are asserting "i've got self assurance." or "i do no longer think." each and every thing else interior the full universe maintains to be precisely the comparable. God exists despite if we've self assurance or no longer. extra info The governments and regulations that exist carry us responsible for our deeds, despite if a particular offender is apprehended or no longer. in case you realize the spirit that speaks in the process the words of the Bible, then you certainly can learn what any of the clowns say to the actual reason of the Bible. It matters if the God-believers try to impose their beliefs on an entire nation as in Iran or the United States.

If God exists, then there is likely life after death and you will have to atone for your life to Him. If God does not exist, when you die, that's pretty much it for you.

It certainly does not matter whether you believe He exist or not... What is certain is that one day you will stand in His awesome presence to be Judge by Him, if you die in your sins; it's as simple as that... If we believe He exist or not; it will certainly not change the fact that He exist... He cannot deny Himself... BE CERTAIN THAT ONE DAY YOU WILL HAVE TO FACE HIM, WHETHER YOU ARE A BELIEVER OR AN ATHEIST...

You will find out just how important god is after death, when it is too late to matter or to understand. What a cop out, isn't it.

It doesn't. God, even if he exists, has no direct effect on my life and most likely yours either.

God offers us reason, an explanation for existence. It gives our life value.
