Does anyone have tall kitty condo's? I am looking into a 3-tier bed one for my 2 cats. I want to know how cats respond to them and if anyone's cats rejected them.

Problem is, my kitties are stubborn and don't always play with the toys I think are cool. They usually prefer to play with my things. They do like to sit on furniture that is forbidden so I am wanting something they are allowed to climb on.

My kitties love them. I got them a nine-level, 78 inch tall cat tower with two hammocks, a rope ladder, a tee-pee and a castle. It's also covered in scratching posts. They love it! It was $160 with shipping. Most cats love them, because cats like being up high... Check out Amazon.com. Type in scratching posts or cat furniture. They have LOTS for a really good price. Best prices than a lot of other places I looked at. Armarcat is the best supplier. They are really easy to put together, too.

Good luck! The taller you get, the better.

You train the cat to use one climbing location rather than another by taking it off the improper one and hanging it on the side of the proper one.
Because of the investment in a condo, you might wish to start with a carpet covered post with a platform at the top and see whether the cats accept that, then you can upgrade.

Most of my cats have loved them. We've always had the kind with the poll at the top so you can anchor it to the ceiling. Some of our cats would take a flying leap and race up the side, hang from the shelves, shred the carpeting, and take long naps on upper shelves. My parents' current cat spends most of her time sleeping on the base and hardly ever climbs it.

If you do get one, it can take some time for your kitties to get used to it. You can try catnip (some are already treated with it) or putting their treats on a shelf. I think they'll like it once you've had it awhile.

Yes. You won't regret it. I have a cat tree that is at least 6 feet tall and stretches right up to a sky light in the kitchen. There are 4 separate compartments, including the half cricle on the top (see Hunter on my 360 Blog). We have 2 cats and they still love it, even though Hunter is getting quite large and is sticking out both ends of his perch. It's a bit tough to vacuum, but it is really a great thing for our cats. Cats need to get up high.

I have a tower that is a little over 5 feet. Matisse loves the thing. I think he especially like to be at eye-level with us. He likes to be up high and pretty sleeps in the tower-of-power (our nickname for it) all the time. He also enjoys taking soaring leaps off the top of it.

Go for the condo, odds are at least one of them will love it and probably both will enjoy the jumping and climbing.

We've got a four level cat tree, and had to actually put our cats on it one by one, just because it was so new and they'd been taught not to jump up on high things.

Once they got the idea it was ok to be on it, you couldn't get them off the top level for quite a while.

However, EVERY ONE of them has fallen off the top level once, and one of them fell off it twice. They take a while to realize that the edges are like a table, you lean over too far and you'll fall down. None got hurt, but none of them had planned on falling off it either, they just got lucky to land ok without hitting anything.

I have one that's over 6 feet tall. It has multiple levels and rooms. My 5 cats love it and fight over who gets to sit on the top level and watch the birds outside. Don't pay a lot of money for one though. Shop around. There's a wide variety of prices.

my cat doesn't like his toys much either he spend time playing with clear plastic lids and things like bottle tops and plastic stuff of the plastic lids and plays with them right through the house. The kittens are still young and can be trained i got to say that my cat used to climb up the wardrobe when we got it new but now he doesn't bother oging up there now. get the cats a plant thats cat friendly as it helps to calm the kittens and keeps them happy too.
