Just curious if someone knows. The average a body burns a day without excersise.

It depends on your body weight, age, gender and height.
Find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you precisely how many does your body burn.

This value will vary greatly from individual to individual. This is called the resting metabolic rate, or RMR, and is the number of calories burned between necessary bodily functioning and light activity such as minimal walking, sitting, typing, etc. This will vary with age, sex, physical conditioning, body composition (bodyfat percentage), height, diet, etc.. I'm not sure anyone's ever come up with an accurate average, but it will be somewhere between 1600-2200 calories per day. Perhaps around 2000 calories per day.

It depends on the individual, but on average a person who is completely sedentary for 24 hours will burn 1000 calories, maybe less.

I agree with Natalie. It all depends on your age, height and weight. Also it depends on your metabolism.
