About a year safely. You want to do it gradually so you will have time to build some muscle. Don't want to be left with a lot of saggy skin.

There are calculations you can use - like burning or decreasing 1000 calories a day will help you lose a pound a week. However, there is no hard and fast rule that encompasses everyone. You probably did not gain the weight over night. So it will be a long journey for you to do it properly. Fad diets are dangerous for your body and never work in the long run. Treat this as a year long project (at least). You will need to change your life forever, and will require a lot of education along the way. Find yourself a gym that seems supportive with fitness and nutrition and prepare to go on a journey to change your life forever. Good luck.

That is a serious undertaking, I would take that 20 lbs at a time. But to answer your question, if your serious and put a full effort in, change your diet exercise regularly, the first 40 will come off quickly after that it will start to slow down. An educated guess would be 6-8 months.
You need to find a diet plan that works for you, so that you dont quit. You may want to use a diet supplement at the start to help you lose quickly. Alli is all the rage if you dont mind the side effects or there is proactol works the same as alli, but is all natural and no side effects.

There is also a free trial for proactol right now.. not sure of all the details. http://www.w8lossreviews.com/proactol_trial.php

It depends how old you are and if you're still growing up.
At least a year in any case. It is important that you develop good eating habits. Do not starve yourself. You should see a nutritionist if you can afford it. Or at least your doctor. A lot of people have no idea what a good diet is, and end up starving themselves. It needs to be gradual if you want your diet to be eefective (if you lose weight too fast, you're very likely to put it back on if you're able to keep with the diet, or just quit the diet). In anycase, you need to change your whole diet.
You also need to exercise a minimum.
PS: a good diet does NOT mean you can't eat anything. You need to find tasty recipes (think spices).

HERE IS THE EASIEST PLAN:
if you want to lose 100 lbs in a whole year, you have to take in 900 calories each day. you lose about 1800 calories a day! This means you will lose 900 calories each day. 3600 calories = 1 pound. Every 4 days, you will lose one pound because 900 calories burned x 4 days = 3600 calories burned. There are 365 days a year, so if you divide 365 by 4, you get the amount you will lose in one year - 91 pounds!

It depends how hard you work on it, i have lost 127lbs in the last 10 months, I have a private trainer that I work out with three times a week and I do an hour of cardio the days I don't work out with him. and I diet, I have to say the first few weeks is the worst but keep it up it's worth it, i have to say it was so much more fun and less work getting fat!!

How fast? If you stick to a strict diet and exercise plan---at least a year. You have to allow for hitting plateaus--it will seem like your weight loss has stopped, but it will start up again. Don't give up.
Also, if you have that much to lose, you should talk to your doctor first. You have to have medical issues because of your weight. You don't want to hurt your body or make yourself sick.

I would say about 1 full yr. You should see your doctor so you can let him/her choose the proper diet for you. This way you won't risk hurting yourself internally.
good luck
