Numerology probably comes either from God or really bored monks (who else has time to do all of that adding) The Qur'an is said to be completely based on the number 19, a very hard number to work with without a calculator, especially when designing a book around it.

It's merely symbolism, and isn't really evil or good. It just depends on who is looking at it. A Pagan might view a pentacle as holy but a Christian would think it's evil. The same thing with numerology.

Numerology is any belief in divine, mystical or other special relationship between a number and some coinciding events. It's an occult science that I consider fascinating. I started to study numerology because of my obsession with Mathematics, Geometry. What I discovered it's really incredibble.

No, but a friend who does also believes in the TV psychics James Von Prague and Sylvia Browne. She also buys lottery tickets daily, and she's a devout Catholic. She says that everyone knows that numerology is a fact. I guess its a fact for her.

There are associations with numbers made in the Bible, but these things are symbolic. Like four being the number of the world, and there are four BEASTS before the THRONE OF GOD. Or 7 (seven days of the week) being the number of completetion or fulfillment being the number of LAMPSTANDS before the THRONE OF GOD. Or 12 is the number of the APOSTLES and the number of the judges. Or 24 of the ANCIENTS there are 24 hours in a day. All these "numbers" have symbolic significance, but we should not associate any specific "magical" properties to numbers that we could divine the future with them . .. but that we can interpret the Bible in terms of these numeric symbols.

2 THE NUMBER OF DIVISION. The Son who has two natures: human and divine. There are 2 Testaments: the Old and New. Man is Male and Female. 9 THE NUMBER OF JUDGMENT. There are 9 greek words derived from the root word meaning judgment = dikay. The following words each occur 9 times in the Bible: abussos (bottomless pit); asebee (ungodly); aselgeia (lasciviousness); and astrapee (lightning). The gifts of the spirit are 9 in number (1 Cor. 12:8-10): the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, and interpretation of tongues.



10 THE NUMBER OF DIVINE PERFECTION.
