no you dont have to do things like that, you need to go get some reading material on whitewitchcraft try the internet there is loads on there lol, you will be surprised how many normal looking people around you are white witches, they ususally follow the pagan religion,which means they celebrate the god and goddesses of the earth air, fire and water,and have celebrations on hallows eve, christmas, summer snd autmn solstices, its not horrible, you dont kill animals and you dont do what they do in the programme (charmed) and vanquish evil, however you really do need to learn about the rituals and circles that will keep you forever safe and the correct phases of the moon in order for spells to work, or it comes back to you by threefold, so you would get the consequences back at you three times stronger than they were sent if you do it all wrong but hey thats how we learn
the only people that say that white witchcraft is for the devil is people like jehova witnesses who believe in something that is not there, and severe god loving people and ministries. take alook at your options have a read up and make your own mind up without influence thats all you can do lol.good luck in your venture.good luck and blessed be.

This isnt Charmed you know, you may as well ask if you have to attend Hogswarts to become a witch.
Try watching something like 'Practicle Magic' its a little closer apart from flying off the roof. But hey, movies are movies. There are alot of movies like 'The end of Days' which are total fantasy too, noone actually battles the deity satan except in their imagination.
The only thing you have to 'vanquish' are the Jehovahs witness's or Mormons at your door. hehehe

Some followers of the Wiccan religion call themselves Witches, as do certain Pagan followers. Most of them don't deal with the devil, demons or other christian beliefs while practicing their religion.
Now if you want to be a spell casting genius type of witch... Well honey, sorry to say, but this world isn't D&D... and you will never cast a fireball...

First of all, witchcraft is inspired by devils and demons. There's no way you can get involved in witchcraft and not have the devil in it. Even if you call yourself a white witch, it is still of the devil and you will find out demonics spirit will show up everywhere in your life if you get involved in it.
