An answer does not evolve from a question. If something evolves, it is a process by which something attains its distinctive characteristics. It would be more proper to say that an answer is the response to a question. That's like saying, if man evolved from apes, then why are there still apes ?

I think questions evolve from answers, not the other way around. We have answers, we just don't know to what questions

answers are replies to questions. Toynbee says that the only thing that we learn from history is that people don't read history. If we expand that, people ask pretty much the same questions - especially when they are small because they can't read and haven't gained the awareness that others noticed that the sky is blue for example.
