I've just started seeing someone but because of a bad relationship in the past, I've very wary of trusting someone new and bringing them into my life. Is there any online website that would allow me to search using his full name, date of birth, place of birth, or details like that, to find out if my new boyfriend has had any court appearances or arrests for physical assault, or anything like that or any kind of crime in his past ??? This guy is from the United Kingdom.
Any good advice would be appreciated. Many thanks.

And inversely, every male should do the same. Insanity doesnt know gender boundaries and there are alot of crazies lurking out there looking for a new companion....male or female.

First off, There are many websites that will let you check someones background but you have to pay for it no matter what.

Ok, and secondly that may be an option for you but I wouldn't suggest letting him ever find out that you ran a back ground check on him. My GF did that to me after we were together for a couple of months. She paid three different agencies to run my entire background right down to every last living relative.
She had all this information mailed to her and inconviently left it out and I found it. You have no idea what it feels like to have someone that you care so much about do something like that as if they don't trust you.
I was honest with her before that and told her that I had a record (no woman beating or domestic crap). I was hurt, insulted and really violated.

So doing that may have it's justifications but if you do don't ever let him know you did it. Because it will spark an argument and probably a break up really fast.

Good luck

There are many sites. But other than that learn from your past experiences and just be cautious. Not all men are the same and don't bring the old baggage into a possible new relationship without giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Just observe, be cautious, and take your time.

Keep in mind if he has had bad relationships with women, you would not want to be judge by their past actions.

Good Luck.

Cheap first search:
Go to Google, click Advanced Search

In the EXACT PHRASE box, type fis first and last name. Use the full name, not a nickname... ie Thomas, not Tom... Nicholas, not Nick

There is a box for "with at least one of the words"... in that box enter a few words like arrest abuse probabtion

happy hunting

Hopefully, his name is not John Smith

your intuition should let you know if hes trust worthy or not if your going todo background checks on every guy you date you'll find many flaws in a persons past if you know anyone he's dated in the past talk to them and see if he was abusive with them good luck.

hmmmm. try google his name and see if anything comes up. Doesn't hurt to check. You may want to check the judiciary websites on where he's from.
